Welcome to A Gingered Scott. As you may have guessed, my name is Scott and I have been kissed by fire. The sun and I do not get along, and I am not to be mistaken with the blue eyed day-walking variety Gingers.

Canadian born and raised, lover of oatmeal, scones and all things Scottish. World of Warcrafter, writer-ish and long distance hiker / walker.

In terms of A Gingered Scott, I have a few new ideas that I hope you will find interesting. I will continue talk about my love of Scotland and the interesting takes on the world around me, but I am most excited to write about the historical connections our local towns share with their namesakes.
